Every year Hero Dogs hosts a 5k Run to raise money to allow them to continue to provide veterans and first responders with service dogs. These dogs fullfull multiple roles including emotional support, regulaton, detection of PTSD symptoms and more. Hero Dogs also partners Hero Dogs with private practices, hospitals, fire and police departments and more. Every dog has a particular skill and personality that fits with their placement and partner! Captain is a facility dog who is trained to provide a particular service in the practice environment at Mauli'Ola.
